Rico Nasty at Showbox SoDo – September 2025
On a cold fall night in Seattle, Rico Nasty stormed the Showbox SoDo stage with the same fire that has defined her career. Dressed in a leather biker jacket and matching boots, she wasted no time diving into new tracks from her high-octane album LETHAL, instantly showing Seattle they were in for a ride. WHO WANT IT and BUTTERFLY KISSES set the tone, two tracks from the new album that had the crowd locked in from the jump.
“Welcome to the show, Seattle,” she shouted, officially kicking off the night.
2025 has been a banner year for Rico. With the release of her third studio album under her new label Fueled By Ramen, LETHAL feels like a creative breakthrough. Proof of how much she’s evolved while staying true to her punk-rap roots. That same spirit carried into her live performance, where one thing became immediately clear: Rico and her fans are a community.
The crowd matched her ferocity step for step. Every track whether a major hit or an album deep cut the crowd was tuned in. Mosh pits erupted across the floor, the kind of chaos you expect (and want) at a Rico Nasty show. The harder she went, the harder Seattle pushed back, and the loop of energy made the room feel unshakable.
For the finale, Rico flipped the script. Instead of choosing herself, she revealed she let the fans decide, and Seattle voted for Trust Issues. The moment the opening chords hit, the venue erupted with the wildest energy of the night, no small feat given what had already unfolded.
If you get the chance to see Rico on her LETHAL tour, take it. Few artists can command a stage with this much power and leave a city buzzing long after the lights go up.
